It is terrible, but I have just heard of the tragic death of Charles Harbord. I worked with Charles at many events in the UK, especially Goodwood and here in Angouleme where I now live, supplying him with photographs and articles, all of which he published without question. A true gentleman, and a great help in getting me press accreditation in the early days, he is going to be sadly missed. I hope someone takes on the wonderful 'Cars for the Connoisseur' magazine and we can continue to read, contribute and enjoy. Charles was unique, found the niche, and our sport is the sadder for losing him, but the richer for what he has done. My condolences to the family and friends who knew him.......
