Sir Stirling & Lady Susie are delighted to actively support the following charities, each of which deals with a subject that has touched them personally.
The Oxford Transplant Campaign:
The Oxford Transplant Foundation is an independent charity established to raise funds for the sole benefit of patients and staff of the Oxford Transplant Centre.
The funds raised are used to enhance the Centre’s facilities and to promote research in organ transplantation.
The Foundation is devoted to the dissemination of information about the latest medical developments and their implications for improving patient care.
The mission of the Oxford Transplant Centre is to help patients with organ failure return to normal life.

Hope for Tomorrow is a national cancer charity, which helps those with cancer, their families and dependants to cope with the reality of the situation.
Hope for Tomorrow was launched in December 2003 by Christine Mills in memory of her husband, David, to provide support via special projects and offer general advice through information leaflets to people who are directly affected by cancer.

The Daisy Appeal:
The Daisy Appeal has been launched to raise funds for the new Hull and East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre Charity.
Why is a research centre needed in Hull?
Cancer and heart disease are the two biggest killers in Hull.
The research and clinical trials centre, the first for
the region, will initially look into heart disease and cancer. And as the centre
develops plans will grow to include research and trials in
other medical
areas.
So far there is no such dedicated facility available in the region. The provision of a clinical trials facility locally means that patients will have access to new drugs and treatments at a far earlier time than they would otherwise have been.
