Stirling throughout his racing career, and right through to the present day, has worked with many companies small and large including Shell Mex BP and Castrol, who sponsored him at the height of his professional racing career, to current and ongoing relationships with Peter James and Stewart Miller Insurance and Safe and Sound Used Car Warranties. He has fronted campaigns as diverse as Sorted in 10 and lent his voice to TV shows such as Roary the Racing Car as well as making numerous TV appearances about his own racing history.
He is also patron and the face of both the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival, as well as making frequent appearances in the United States including the Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance as a judge, in Europe at events including Le Mans and car rallies such as the Ennstal Classic in Austria and elsewhere around the globe.
His love of the latest gadgets and design is well known, his own home being a combination of both his interest in property and use of some highly innovative gadgets and practical devices designed by Stirling himself.
