Dear Sir Moss,
Last week, I visited the Amelia Island Concurse d'Elegance where I was lucky to find "THE" Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage completly restored. To me, it was a very nostalgic surprice since I was honored to shake your hand while you were sitting in this beautiful machine during a pit stop at the Cuban Grand Prix in 1960. I was not a day older than thirteen years when I met you and saw you race to victory, I will NEVER forget that day. When I saw your Maserati at Emilia, tears came to my eyes remembering that beautiful day in my now gone youth. I was hoping to have shake your hand again at this event, however, you had your "elevator" accident for which I'm happy to hear you are doing well after it.
I did purchased a photo of you, driving the Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage and I am looking forward to frame it and hang it in my beautiful garage, where I keep my humble AC Cobra. I also purchased at Emilia, a print of the Maserati with you driving it, which I would like for you to sign for me. If you would so kind as to give me the information of what would be your fee for this service and to where I need to mail the print to.
I hope your health improve, so I can have the chance some day to meet you once again in my life time.
Regards,
Hector Rodriguez
