The second in this very popular, ground-breaking series based on Sir Stirling's own scrapbooks, diaries and personal albums.

1961 was another brilliant year for the maestro who famously triumphed at Monaco and the Nurburgring over the more powerful Ferraris in his aging Rob Walker Lotus. Moss also enjoyed his seventh win in the classic TT and a positive catwalk of glamorous ladies, as he once again lived his jet-set life to the full. During his last complete season, Moss drove Lotus 18, Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta, Austin-Healey Sprite, Maserati T61 & T63, Cooper T53, Lotus 19, Aston Martin DB4 Zagato, Porsche RS60 & RS61, Lotus 18/21, Sunbeam Alpine & Ferguson P99.

Packed full of period photos and cuttings, spiced with Sir Stirling's forthright comments, accounts of races and snippets of information, this book has all the atmosphere of early '60s racing. Whether you read it from cover to cover or dip in and out, this superb new book will delight.

The books are being compiled by award-winning motoring author Philip Porter to whom Sir Stirling has given unique access and many interviews. For added colour, Porter has spoken with Stirling's friends and colleagues, and their anecdotes are included.
