The Maserati 4200 Eldorado Special as raced in the 1958 Race of Two Worlds by Stirling in Italy. This somewhat off beat Maserati with its colourful paintwork, a consequence of an ice cream manufacturer sponsoring the team, was entered in the Europe versus the best of the USA race. An interesting model in the special issue Maserati series in 1:43 scale by da Grani. A great model for the price, mounted on a plastic base and supplied in a blister pack.
