Signed Limited Edition Stirling Moss Jaguar C Type No.50 sculpture, commemorating the 1952 Reims Grand Prix win.
In 1952 Stirling won the 50 lap Reims Grand Prix driving this Jaguar C-type, registration XKC 005, No.50. This was the first competition win for any car fitted with disc brakes.
These sculptures were created to honour that famous victory. Each piece comes complete with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Sir Stirling Moss OBE and presented in a bespoke hardwood presentation case featuring the Stirling Moss brand.
Only 50 of these polished aluminium sculptures will ever be produced by Kevin Hicks of Streamliner Designs, each one being made to order from a superbly detailed and hand crafted master pattern.
These beautiful and substantial sculptures measure 16 inches (400mm) in length and weigh almost 5.5 kg.
The pieces are strictly limited to a run of 50 and retail for GBP2,000 + VAT, note that VAT is not applicable outside the EU and for purchasers providing a validated VAT/IVA number within the EU.
