Caracalla Bagaglio: Aston Martin LM No.5 Leather Holdall

This superb medium sized Italian made leather holdall, part of the Commemorative Collection by Caracalla Bagaglio, celebrates Aston Martin's rich racing heritage. Drivers such as Stirling won the 1958 Tourist Trophy and Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby the 1959 Le Mans for Aston Martin, just two of the many famous victories this famous marque has enjoyed.

The holdall is finished in British Racing Green (Verde) leather, the colour is as close as Caracalla Bagaglio can get to the green of the 1959 Aston Martin leather Interior, with a Bianco (white) leather roundel and the # 5 in Nero leather (black).

Why the number 5? The holdall was designed to commemorate Aston Martin's 1st Le Mans win with the DBR1 in 1959, this was the last Le Mans triumph by an Aston until 2007 when David Brabham won the same race in a DBR9.

Roy Salvadori owns and uses the first of this particular version of the holdall to be made.
