Lap of Honour DVD

“Lap Of Honour” is a portrait of the “man behind the legend” as he is today, enriched by colourful tributes from his peers and friends. This DVD, by Tim Hain, came to life thanks to the Goodwood Revival, a ‘period’ Pentax and serendipity. Tim met Stirling through a friend of his mother’s in 2000, who days later received the MBE. At the Palace Tim met Mark Knopfler, who subsequently sent him a poignant tribute to their mutual hero.

“Sir Goodwood” and his good Lady have supported the production of this DVD, which features Murray Walker, Sir Jack Brabham, “Marilyn Monroe” and many other Goodwood Revival stars, with a special musical tribute by Mark Knopfler OBE.
