Stirling Moss Race History: 1955 British Grand Prix - Aintree

The interview with Murray Walker focuses on Stirling's 1955 British Grand Prix win, the first ever British winner of his home Grand Prix, in the Mercedes-Benz W196 beating Fangio into 2nd place and the 1957 British Grand Prix when he shared the win with Tony Brooks racing a Vanwall.

The video, part of the Murray Walker F1 Greats series, features not only colour footage of the historic first British Grand Prix win for Stirling, but also colour footage of the 1961 Monaco Grand Prix and Stirling racing a Jaguar Mk.VII.

Really super video, but too short. Fantastic to see colour footage of those races.

Can BBC deliver Murray meets 60min programs whilst we have so many great racers still around? Stirling, JYS, Jack Brabham, Surtees, Derek Bell, nigel, Marion, Emmo, Damon, Weldon, Schumi, Frank Williams, Ron Dennis, Ron Walker and many many others...... Let's get it done, before we all get too old?!?

More colour footage from Dukes new series from BP Archive footage http://tiny.cc/t9r1z
